EDUCATION

Graduated from the Faculty of Health and Medicine in Radiology, Oncology and Palliative Care at Sheffield Hallam University, UK, with a specialization in palliative medicine (2019) and from the Institute of Dietetics at the College of Business and Health Sciences (MEDYK), Lodz, with a specialization in clinical nutrition (2021).

The topic of her first thesis was the effectiveness of parenteral nutrition in intestinal obstruction in advanced cancer in pediatrics. This thesis won a Sheffield Hallam University award in 2019. The topic of her second thesis was dietary management in post-COVID-19 syndrome.

About the doctor:

Clinical dietitian with 5 years of experience in nutritional treatment in oncology, palliative care, patients with COVID-19 and recovering patients with post-COVID-19 syndrome. Member of the Polish Society for Parenteral, Enteral and Metabolism Nutrition (POLSPEN).

Until March 2020, she worked as a consultant physician in palliative medicine, implementing nutrition treatment plans for children with cancer in the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Kyiv Regional Oncology Hospital (2015-2018), later in the department of pediatric home palliative care of Kyiv City Diagnostic Center for Children, an official partner of Warsaw Children's Hospice (2018-2020).

From March to December 2020, she worked as the only Medical Expert/Medical Advisor for the Kyiv European Union Advisory Mission, within the framework of the COVID-19 monitoring and control project, with responsibility for 360 Mission staff members, COVID-19 disease support, including consultative support in nutritional therapy (within the framework of the Nutrition EU initiative), with numerous commendations from the Head of Mission, for the European Union External Action Servic ( EEAS)/ Civilian planning and conduct capability (CPCC).

She participated in 4 clinical trials (nutrition and quality of life in palliative care) as principal investigator.

She has 4 papers to her credit, including on nutritional treatment in children with incurable diseases.
